Chilli sauce

Make this simple recipe for fiery chilli sauce for a brilliant storecupboard staple

Ingredients

  • 250 g fresh chillies
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 250 g sun-dried tomatoes
  • bunch basil leaves
  • 125 ml extra virgin olive oil

Method

1. Place chilli peppers, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes and basil on a cutting board. Crush the chilli pepper and the garlic. Finely chop the ingredients (with a mezzaluna if you have one) and bring to a mulch.

2. Place in a jar. Add olive oil to cover the chili paste. Mix well
