Honey Glaze

Ready in a shake (literally!), Alan Coxon's tasty glaze will add a layer of lip-smacking flavour to chicken, pork or bread

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp honey
  • juice of 1 small oranges
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Tips and Suggestions


The glaze would also be suitable for use when barbecuing.

Method

1. Place all the ingredients together in a screw top jar and shake well, until mixed. Use as a glaze for chicken, pork or bread. To use when roasting chicken or pork, simply remove the meat from the oven just before the end of it's cooking time, brush generously with the glaze, then return the to the oven and roast for a final 4-5 minutes.
