Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Irish whiskey
  • 25 g brown sugar
  • 425 ml fresh strong black coffee
  • 90 ml double cream

Method

1. Divide the whisky and brown sugar between two heatproof serving glasses.2. Pour the hot coffee into the glasses to come about 4cm from the rim of each glass.3. Very carefully and steadily pour the cream over the back of a spoon to float on top of the coffee. Serve at once and drink through the cream.
