Oriental Pesto

Ingredients

  • large bunch fresh coriander
  • 50 g sesame seeds
  • 20 ml sesame oil
  • 5 ml mirin, (Japanese rice vinegar)
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 small Thai red chilli
  • black pepper
  • ready-made noodles

Method

1. Place all the ingredients for the pesto into a blender and blitz until you have a smooth paste.

2. Heat a large wok over a high heat and add the pesto, stir in the noodles and stir-fry for a couple of minutes. Serve immediately.
