Ingredients

  • 25 g butter
  • 2 Bramley apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • caster sugar, if needed

Method

1. Heat the butter in a heavy-based saucepan. Once the butter begins to foam, add in the apples and rosemary sprig. Cook, stirring now and then, until the apple is soft, around 10 minutes.

2. Pass the apples through a fine sieve adding a little sugar if necessary. Keep warm until serving.
