Ingredients

Main

  • 0.5 Asian pears
  • 0.5 cm ginger, grated
  • cardamom pods, crushed
  • 1 pinches cinnamon
  • 25 ml cider or apple juice
  • 0.5 limes, juice
  • 0.5 shots sugar syrup
  • 50 ml gin
  • 2 ice cubes, crushed
  • 1 splashes soda water
  • 1 star anise

Method

1. Grate the pear into a cocktail shaker and add the ginger, cardamom and cinnamon. Top up with apple juice, lime, sugar syrup, gin and crushed ice. 2. Shake for about 10 seconds and strain into a Martini glass. Top with a splash of soda and garnish with a floating star anise.
