Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 125 g icing sugar

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 150C/gas 2. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.

2. Put the egg whites and the sieved icing sugar into a really clean, dry bowl. Using the highest speed possible on your electric beater or food mixer, whisk until the mixture forms stiff dry peaks.

3. Dollop spoonfuls of the meringue mixture onto the baking tray and cook for about 50-60 minutes or until the meringue will easily lift off the paper.
