Bloody Mary oysters

A succulent fresh oyster at the bottom of the glass, makes Matt Tebbutt's classic mix an excellent shot for drinks or canapé parties

Ingredients

  • 3 oysters
  • 150 ml tomato juice
  • 1 splashes tabasco
  • 1 splashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 splashes vodka
  • 1 splashes fino sherry
  • 1 pinches celery salt

Method

1. Open the oysters using an oyster shucker and reserve the juice.

2. Combine the tomato juice with a splash of Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce and vodka.

3. Lay an oyster into each of 3 shot glasses, pour over the Bloody Mary. Add a splash of sherry, the reserved oyster juice and a pinch of celery salt to each. Drink in one mouthful.
