Brown Toast and Marmalade Purée

Ingredients

  • 3 slices brown bread
  • 100 g orange marmalade
  • 150 ml water

Method

1. Toast the slices of bread. Mix the marmalade with the water and heat in a pan until dissolved and runny.

2. Remove the crusts from the toast and discard, then soak the toast in the marmalade mixture and leave to cool.

3. Blend the mixture in a food processor until you have a smooth purée and serve.
