Ingredients

  • 200 ml beef consommé
  • 40 ml sherry
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 tsp tabasco
  • 2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • pinches salt

Method

1. Mix the beef consommé, sherry, lemon juice, Tabasco, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and salt together. Pour into a glass filled with ice.

2. Alternatively, serve it hot by bringing the consommé almost to the boil and stirring in the remaining ingredients. Serve with sausages and mustard.
