Chicken in Parma ham

For a simple, tasty meal try this recipe for chicken, flavoured with garlic and mustard and wrapped in Parma ham

  • 100 ml olive oil, for shallow-frying
  • 1 chicken, corn-fed
  • 1 pinches paprika
  • 2 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 pinches sage
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 2 Parma ham, slices


1. Preheat the oven to 170ºC/gas 3. 2. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan pan. Add in the chicken breast and brown the chicken on all sides. At the last minute sprinkle with paprika. 3. Mix together the garlic, mustard, sage and lemon juice in a small bowl. 4. Brush the mustard mixture over the fried chicken breast, then wrap it in the Parma ham.5. Place the chicken in a roasting tin and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.6. Serve with the mustard mash.
