An updated version of Scotch and ginger from Wayne Collins fruity flavours soften and combine with the whisky to make a refreshing long drink

Ingredients

Main

  • 1 limes, wedge
  • 2 tsp elderflower cordial
  • 35 ml whiskey, Scottish
  • 1 tbsp apples
  • 3 ice cubes
  • 150 ml ginger, ale, to serve
  • 4 fresh mint leaves, to garnish

Method

1. Fill a highball glass with ice and squeeze the lime wedge over. Add the remaining ingredients and gently stir.

2. Top up with ginger ale and garnish with mint, to serve.
