Golden flapjacks with mango, sour cherries and coconut

Golden flapjacks with mango, sour cherries and coconut

  • 85 g golden syrup
  • 85 g runny honey
  • 150 g salted butter
  • 150 g porridge oats
  • 100 g desiccated coconut
  • 75 g sour cherries
  • 75 g dried mango, chopped into small pieces


1. Preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 6. Grease a medium sized deep baking tray ' size depending on how thick you like your flapjacks
2. Melt the golden syrup, honey and butter together
3. When they are melted remove the pan from the heat and add the porridge oats, coconut, cherries and mango ' stir in well
4. Pour the flapjack mixture into the tray and push it down slightly then bake in the oven for about 25 ' 30 minutes until they have turned a deep golden brown.
