Ingredients

  • 225 g butter
  • 225 g brown sugar
  • 175 g raisins
  • 175 g sultanas
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 125 g mixed peel

Method

1. Put all the ingredients into a large saucepan and bring to the boil.

2. Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes or so, until softened.

3. Spoon into sterilised jars and cover with a lid. Refrigerate until ready to use.
