  • 1 kg mussels
  • 330 ml stout
  • 330 ml beer
  • 1 bunch flat leaf parsley, roughly chopped


1. Preheat wok to a high heat.

2. Clean the mussels by removing any beards from the shells, then add the mussels to the wok, followed by the stout and beer. Gently shake the wok and cover. Leave to cook for 5-10 minutes, or until mussel shells are open.

3. Remove from heat. Scatter with parsley leaves and serve with chunks of crusty bread.
