Noodle Salad with Celery and Sesame Seeds

Noodle Salad with Celery and Sesame Seeds

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 80 ml dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 200 g egg noodles, boiled according to manufacturers instructions, drained and refreshed under cold water
  • 4 spring onions, finely sliced
  • 2 sticks celery
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds


1. Place the sesame oil, soy sauce, vinegar and sugar in a large bowl and stir to combine.

2. Tip the noodles into a large bowl, and add about half the dressing. Toss gently to combine.

3. Arrange the noodles on a serving platter, and scatter the celery and spring onions on top. Pour over any remaining dressing and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
