- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 x 200 g sirloin steaks
- 4 tbsp crushed black peppercorns
1. Heat the oil in a frying pan, press the peppercorns over the steaks and fry for 1½ -2½ minutes on each side for rare to medium. Add a minute cooking time either side if you prefer your meat well done.
2. When the meat is done, cover with aluminium foil and leave in a warm place to rest for at least 5 minutes before serving.
