Ingredients

  • 450 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 75 g porridge oats
  • 1 persimmon, diced
  • 1 apple, peeled, cored and diced
  • honey, to serve

Method

1. Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Reduce to simmer for 5 minutes, or until the oats are tender, stirring occasionally.

2. To serve, pour into bowls, top with a little more diced persimmon and drizzle with honey if desired.
