Quick smoked mackerel pâté

Quick smoked mackerel pâté

Ingredients

  • 300 g smoked mackerel fillets, skinned
  • 1 small lemon, juice only
  • 280 g creme fraiche
  • 3/4 tbsp creamed horseradish, (or to taste)

Method

1. Break the mackerel into chunks and mix together with the lemon juice, crème fraîche, creamed horseradish and plenty of ground black pepper in a bowl.

2. Mash well with a fork to make a soft, fluffy mixture. Cover with cling film and chill in the fridge until required. Serve cold.
