Rice Cakes

Ingredients

  • 150 g rice flour
  • 150 ml water
  • 1 tsp dried yeast
  • 1 tsp caster sugar
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

Method

1. Place the flour into a large bowl and add the water. Stir in the yeast, sugar and egg until you have a smooth batter.

2. Heat a little of the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat and fry tablespoons of the batter for 2-3 minutes on each, until golden.

3. Drain on kitchen paper and serve immediately.
