  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 500 g spinach leaves, stalks removed
  • 350 g new potatoes, par-boiled
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg, grated
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinches black pepper

Method

1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan and when hot, add the spinach leaves, potatoes, nutmeg, cinnamon and a pinch of salt and pepper.


2. Stir and fry for about 10 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and the spinach has wilted. Serve immediately with chapattis.
