Sausages with Apples and Onions

Sausages with Apples and Onions

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 8 Tamworth pork sausages
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 apples, cut into quarters
  • 100 ml water or ham stock
  • 2 tbsp clear honey

Method

1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan over a medium-low heat and add the sausages.

2. Gently fry the sausages in the oil until golden-brown. Tip in the onions and fry for a further five minutes until softened.

3. Add the remaining ingredients to the pan and cook for a further five minutes until the apples are tender. Serve hot.
