  • 300 g stinking bishop cheese
  • 4 pears, core removed
  • 8 thin slices walnut bread
  • 1 handful frisee lettuce
  • 1 handful oak leaf lettuce
  • walnut oil, for drizzling
  • reduced balsamic vinegar, for drizzling
  • toasted walnuts

1. Preheat the grill to high. Thickly slice the cheese and the pears.

2. Toast the walnut bread until golden-brown, then top with the sliced pears and cheese. Grill the toasts for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted slightly, then cut into smaller pieces.

3. Dress the lettuce leaves with walnut oil and reduced balsamic vinegar, then toss in the walnuts. Arrange on a plate alongside the cheese and pear toasts.
