- 450 g strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1/2 bottles Beaujolais red wine
- 4 tbsp caster sugar
- 200 ml crème fraîche
1. Put the strawberries into a bowl. Sprinkle over the sugar then pour over enough wine to just cover them.
2. Leave to macerate for ½ to 1 hour.
3. Spoon into four bowls and serve with crème fraîche.
