Dip your sushi rolls into something a little more exciting than simple soy with these recipes from Aaron Craze

Sushi dipping sauces

Ingredients

For the soy, chilli and lime dip

  • 100 ml soy sauce
  • 1 red chilli, finely sliced
  • 1 lime, juice and finely grated zest
  • 2 spring onions, finely chopped

For the soy, wasabi and pickled ginger dip

  • 100 ml soy sauce
  • 1 tsp wasabi
  • 2 tbsp thinly sliced pickled ginger

Method

1. For the soy, chilli and lime dip: mix the ingredients together in a small bowl.

2. For the soy, wasabi and pickled ginger dip: Mix together a little of the soy sauce and wasabi to make a smooth paste then add the remaining soy. If youd like it hotter add more wasabi. Stir in the pickled ginger

3. Serve with California Rolls or Tiger Rolls.
