Sweet curry pastry dough

Ingredients

  • 100 g full-fat cream cheese
  • 110 g butter
  • 145 g plain flour
  • 2 tsp mild curry powder
  • 2 tsp orange rind, grated
  • a pinch of ground saffron

Method

1. Place the cream cheese, butter, flour, curry powder, orange zest and saffron in a large mixing bowl or electric mixer.

2. Mix until the ingredients form a smooth paste.

3. Form into a flat disc, wrap in cling film and refrigerate for at least one hour.
