- 120 ml mirin
- 120 ml soy sauce
- 120 ml sake
- 50 g granulated sugar
1. Put the mirin a pan over a medium heat and simmer for a couple of minutes to boil off the alcohol.
2. Add the soy sauce, sake and sugar and simmer until it is reduced by half.
3. Use to make meat, fish and vegetables before grilling or use as a sauce.
