- Serves: 1
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Effort: easy
- 1 strip orange zest
- 1 tsp runny honey
- 30 ml vodka
- 1 pink grapefruit, strip of peel and 10ml juice
- sparkling rosé wine, such as Millione, chilled, enough to fill up the flute
Tips and Suggestions
If you like your cocktails really cold, put ice in the glass beforehand and throw it away when the cocktail is ready, or chill the glass in the freezer.
£1 from every bottle of Millione goes towards raising £1,000,000, which will build 20 schools and educate 10,000 kids in West Africa in conjunction with ActionAid.
You can buy Millione from supermarkets such as Tesco, Asda and Sainsburys. Or buy online from Laithwaites Wine and Waitrose Wine Direct.
1. Put the orange zest and honey in a container (a mixer or jug will do), then crush the zest a little with a spoon or pestle to extract flavour.
2. Add the vodka and grapefruit juice and stir. Pour through a strainer into a champagne flute, top up with chilled Millione and add the grapefruit zest as decoration.
