- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 400 g tin canned chopped tomatoes
- black pepper
1. Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and cook for 5-7 minutes until soft.
2. Add the garlic and tomatoes, and season to taste.
3. Simmer briskly for 20-25 minutes until thickened.
