Ingredients

Main

  • 4 slices fresh ginger
  • 500 ml ginger wine
  • 250 ml apple juice
  • 250 ml water
  • 2 apples, Pink Lady, peeled and sliced
  • 50 ml honey
  • 50 ml calvados

Method

1. Place the ginger slices, ginger wine, apple juice and water in a pan and simmer over a low heat for 15 minutes. 2. Add the apple slices, honey and Calvados and cook gently for 10 more minutes.


3. Serve warm, leaving the apple in for decoration, or, if you prefer, removing it once the drink is ready.
