Ingredients

Main

  • 4 slices fresh ginger
  • 500 ml ginger wine
  • 250 ml apple juice
  • 250 ml water
  • 2 apples, Pink Lady, peeled and sliced
  • 50 ml honey
  • 60 ml calvados

Method

1. Place the ginger into a large saucepan with the ginger wine, apple juice and water. 2. Heat gently for 15 minutes to infuse the flavours. 3. Stir in the apples, honey and Calvados. 4. Heat the mixture for a further 10 minutes. Serve warm.
