- 450 g peeled and deseeded watermelon
- 4-5 limes, juice only
- 100 ml tequila
- 50 ml Cointreau, or Triple Sec
- 2-3 tbsp caster sugar
- handful of ice cubes
1. Place all the ingredients, including the ice, in a blender or food processor and whiz for about 1 minute.
2. To serve, scatter a little salt onto a plate, dip the rim of each chilled glass into the margarita mixture (to a depth of about 5mm), then dip in the salt to form a salted rim.
Divide the drink between 4-6 cocktail glasses.
